This 5 Ingredient Quinoa Superfood Breakfast Bowl is my new FAV snack! it's SO easy to prepare, only 5 ingredients and tastes amazing! blueberries, bananas, and Peanut Butter! Vegan and Gluten Free
You know how much I LOVE my easy food?! Like this much !!!!!!!!!!!! 😉
I am here to make your life at least your breakfast (of afternoon snack) SO-MUCH-EASIER!
I know we are all like crazy busy trying to do 2 million things at once so let me take the food part and make it simple for you today! Ok?
Only 5 ingredients. If you have been around for a while you know how much I like to make extra of everything to eat the next day. Well quinoa is like a total superfood but instead of telling you facts about it, because I am sure you already know it’s good for you or have already been told by someone else. 😉
Instead today I am going to tell you to go cook up a big batch of plain Quinoa and stick it in the fridge.
Why? Because it’s going to be your SUPER FAST breakfast or snack the rest of this week! (or you could totally do this on a Sunday so it’s ready for the week)
It’s like this:
Cooked Quinoa put right into a bowl
Top with your fav fruit
Top with almond milk
Add PB
ENJOY
Or
Microwave to heat it up and
ENJOY!
It’s that simple!
May I make another suggestion? Place the quinoa in mason jars so that you can have it as a to-go! So all you have to do is top it and add a splash of milk and you’re ready to go! 😉
This 5 Ingredient Quinoa Superfood Breakfast Bowl is good hot or cold, if I eat it in the morning I like it heated up, if I have it as an afternoon snack I usually just eat it cold… either way it’s tasty and you need to try it!
Plus it’s a nice switch up from oats and smoothies which you know I love but from time to time ya gotta switch things up right?!
Let me know what you think if you try it, and what fruits did you top yours with?!
I hope you give this a try and let me know what you think! let's keep in touch too on TwoRaspberries, Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest!

What is the right way to cook quinoa?
tworaspberries
Hi!
I personally cook quinoa in a stove top pot- I use about 1 part dry quinoa to almost 2 parts liquid
example: 1 cup dry quinoa to 1 3/4 cup liquid...
I start by washing my quinoa (in a fine mesh strainer) then I add it to the pot with the liquid... turn it on high heat until it simmers... and then turn it down to low heat with a lid and let it steam/adsorb the liquid which will take about 15-20 minutes!
I hope this helps 😉 have a wonderful weekend!

This looks delicious! Do you happen to know the nutritional values for this recipe?
tworaspberries
I personally don't list nutritional values because I have a history with compulsively counting calories in an un-healthy way, with that being said I know everyone is different and it works great for some people! 😉 ...I really recommend https://cronometer.com/ for finding nutritional values of food, it shows everything from calories to vitamin content and I know a lot of people who use it, it's free you just make an account to sign in! I think you will find it very useful! I hope you have a wonderful day! 😉
